barra-santiago06 This natural adventure starts by walking along an elevated wooden trail through the mangrove, approximately 150 meters into the heart of a bird sanctuary, home to many resident and migratory species.

After birdwatching, step aboard the "panga", or local boat, and travel to a special protected area called El Zapatero Canal, where all fishing and hunting is prohibited. Here you will be able to the beauty of the mangrove forest and take pictures of a wide variety of marine birds, crocodiles, schools of fish and other species in this ecosystem.
