Explore a working coffee mill and learn about the process of how a simple coffee bean becomes an excellent cup of coffee. You will start your tour in the estate home, savoring a cup of coffee that's been produced the old-fashioned way with a wooden coffee maker and cloth filter, accompanied by a sweet, locally made pastry. A guide will then lead you through the different areas of the coffee mill to describe each stage of coffee production and explain how the "cherry" coffee bean is transformed into a "green" coffee for export to companies like Starbucks, American Airlines and the Holiday Inn, among many others.

Then you'll be able to test out your coffee connoisseur skills at a professional Cupping (or taste-testing) session, where you will learn the basics of judging coffee. At the end of this tour, you will receive a pound of Café Ataco Gourmet Coffee and a home cooked lunch in the comforts of the estate home.

	By Bus: Take the 205 from San Salvador to Sonsonate. In Sonsonate, take the 249 that goes to Ahuachapán. Get off at Km 97.
