Tatalpa

Tatalpa Garden is a lovely site just 10 minutes from Nahuizalco, full of tropical plants and colorful flowers native to the region.  This tranquil tour follows the interpretive garden paths that identify the different species that you will observe along the way.  After your garden tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase locally grown plants or relax in the rejuvenating, crystal clear pools on site.

These pools are fed by an artesian spring located in the mountains around the village.

car By Car: Nahuizalco is 5 km. (3 mi.) north of Sonsonate along Highway 8, about 70 km. (44 mi.) west of San Salvador along Highway 1 (the highway to Sonsonate). Nahuizalco
bus By Bus: Take the 205 from San Salvador to Sonsonate. In Sonsonate, take the 53D. It will drop you off in the central park.
